Option Boot the Memtest86 USB drive and select the orange icon labeled "EFI". You can try running a memory test using a bootable Memtest86 USB drive. If you remove the SSD and boot the SSD externally without any problems, then this indicates either a bad hard drive SATA Cable or a compatibility issue with the SSD. This cable had an extremely high rate of failure on the 13" model especially when used with an SSD. There is also a chance you have a bad hard drive SATA Cable. If there are any unfixed errors, then you will need to erase the whole physical drive followed by restoring from a backup or clone. Even if First Aid reports everything as "Ok" click on "Show Details" and look for any unfixed errors or warnings. Within Disk Utility click on "View" and select "Show All Devices" so that the hidden Container appears on the left pane of Disk Utility. Run Disk Utility First Aid on the hidden Container. To check the health of the SSD run DriveDx and post the report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper.
